In February 2017 we had the pleasure of publishing The Drover’s Daughter by Patsy Kemp, an amazing memoir about her growing up on stock routes of sheep transport in New South Wales and Queensland in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Serpent Song is set to be a duology, with a sequel to Serpent Song to come in the near future, just in case you can’t wait to sink your fangs into more of Toni Grant’s work.

Flying into Danger tells the story of Paul Brickhill, an iconic Australian fighter pilot who became a Prisoner of War in WWII that would go on not only to survive the ordeal but also to return and become a writer in England – amongst the trauma endured during that time that would lead to a near-two decade breakdown he would pen a collection of tour-de-force books that won him celebrity and after that he returned Australia – these books remain untouched by time and shape the way we view history. Paul Brickhill’s life that has been collated and transcribed by John Ramsland in Flying into Danger is immersive, informative and captivating. A must-read for those interested in Australian wartime, aviation, military biographies, Australian film and/or the books/films The Great Escape, Reach for the Sky and The Dam Busters.
