Phil Carman is a name that needs no introduction as an iconic part of Australian Football history, known best by the moniker Fabulous Phil – which also is the name of the debut book by Matt Watson about the football nomad who played for Norwood, Collingwood, Melbourne, Essendon and North Melbourne and had his fair share of adventures on and off the field, including fronting the tribunal more than once for his on-field escapades.
